Today was the day I behaved like a pig. Woke up late and basically ate and became a couch potato. Not the ideal way to train for a marathon. What's the big deal? One day of not excercising decreases your fitness by 5 percent. I can do one less pull up now after several days of not excercising.

Okay so why the nag over excercise? Westerners feel that one of the things in life to invest on, is excercise. See, smart people who invest and earn money and at the same time gain a healthy body. Asians, I feel, have a long way to go but have slowly caught up with the idea. I was once telling my ex-colleague about the importance of excercise when a caucasian mother and daughter walked past. She remarked on how the mother was still looking as young as her daughter. Coincidentally, an Indian lady was pushing her mum on a wheelchair.Forget the wheelchair. Her mum wasn't looking in the best shape either. From where we were standing, it looked funny that such an incident happened to support my stance.

Thus people, a simple 30 min jog a day would do wonders for your body, even mind. You do not have to go to an expensive gym or have a personal trainer. And one more thing. If i ever be a pig again, quote this blog to me yea....
