Stop and count the things in life that were forced upon you. Things that you do not want to pay for but somehow have to fork out the extra cash to pay for it. Right now, 2 things in life form the unneccesary needs on my list.
Insurance. We all know that insurance covers us for any mishaps(touch wood) that happen. Thus while serving my National Service I actually have to pay for insurance every month. Say nothing happens to me or the duration of 2 years. Then I would have wasted all that money on the insurance that I have paid for. Oh well, I guess we are all paranoid.
Thank you for subscribing to .. magazine. The subscription fee will be deducted from your allowance each month. I don't remember giving a verbal or written agreement to endorse a subscription of a certain magazine to my hands(maybe I did it drunk but again, I do not remember getting drunk on any occasion. Unless I got horribly drunk and thus do not remember getting drunk. Do I even make sense?). So, yours truly sits here wondering if the subscription here can be terminated.
And of course. Membership card. "Sir if you spend another dollar you would be entitled to a free membership card of a life time". And then you discover that that is the last time you ever shop, dine or frequent that place. I call myself a business prospect yet I do not cut the corners whenever I need to. Someone control my spending! So there you have it. Yet I wonder where my money goes to each month.
